Driver Training

We have a wide range of logistics and HGV training packages available. Covering many different driving licence categories, such as car & trailer, van, minibus, Class 2 driver training, and HGV Class 1 driver training.

Our instructors cover all categories of HGV driver training, and provide tuition and a high standard of teaching to ensure you have the best possibility of passing your driving test the first time! You will be taught all the skills and knowledge you need to feel confident and pass your tests.

Our Forklift courses are designed to give students the correct skills and knowledge that they need to be able to safely and efficiently operate a forklift, specific to the machine used within their chosen forklift course. Furthermore, completing forklift training will show employers that you have the official training & qualifications as well as helping to ensure the safety of other employees in your workplace.

We have a variety of attachments available for you to be trained on, which include:

  1. Brick Grab
  2. Hook
  3. Clamshell

We have courses that will provide training on only one attachment, or alternatively, we have courses that will teach candidates how to use both Brick Grab and Hook.

PASMA Training

PASMA training courses revolve around the use of Mobile Access Towers which are commonly used on construction sites. Taking on of our PASMA courses will teach all candidates how to safely and securely operate a Mobile Access Tower, it will also give you all the skills and knowledge that you need to pass your test which can help avoid potential injuries.

ADR Training

ADR Training

An ADR licence is the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road, which most European countries have signed up to, each country that complies with ADR has introduced its own safety precautions through its national legislation.

ADR regulations and training are designed to make sure that dangerous goods can be safely transported by road, and transporting them is only performed by competent and ADR-compliant drivers and vehicles.

IPAF Training

IPAF Training

IPAF stands for International Powered Access Federation and is the organisation that promotes the safe and responsible use of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) such as Cherry Pickers and Scissor Lifts.

IPAF training will teach you the skills and knowledge that you need to safely and securely operate MEWPs and pass your desired IPAF test. Completing the MEWP training will show employers that you have received a high standard of training and have the correct certification to ensure you are compliant with rules and regulations.

Driver CPC

Driver CPC

A Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC) is a legal requirement for anyone wanting to drive larger vehicles professionally or as part of a hire and reward service. If you would like to drive heavy goods or PCV vehicles that weigh over 3.5 tonnes, including LGVs, HGVs, and buses/coaches, you will need to complete CPC training.

People who passed their car test before 1st January 1997 will be required to undertake 35 hours of periodic CPC training. Anyone passing their car test after 1st January 1997 needs to complete a MOD 2 CPC theory test followed by the MOD 4 practical training and testing.

Rough Terrain Training

Rough terrain training will vary, from completing a J1, J2 or J3 telehandler training.

Each course adapts to the requirements of the students while ensuring all the core competencies are covered for the best preparation for their test.

Transport Manager CPC

Transport Manager CPC

As a transport manager, it is recommended to have completed an OLAT course (Operators licence awareness course) in order to achieve your Operators Licence. A refresher course is required every 5-10 years in order to maintain professional competence as this shows to the traffic commissioners that you have continuous and effective control of your operations.

ELCAS Courses

ELCAS Courses

The Enhanced Learning Credits Scheme provides financial assistance to active serving personnel and service leavers of the Armed Forces. Financial assistance is available in the form of a payment for a maximum of 3 separate financial years is available to pay for higher-level learning. Courses must be level three or above on the National Qualification Framework (NFQ) in the UK, Wales and Northern Ireland or a level 6 or higher on the Scottish Credit and Qualification Framework (SCQF)
