B+E CAR AND TRAILER
The category B+E, Car and Trailer licence is for drivers that passed their category B (Car) driving test on or after 1st January 1997 and wish to tow larger trailers.
This category will enable you to drive a vehicle up to 3500kg whilst also towing up to a furher 3500kg (Gross weight).
If you tow a trailer over 750kg you may need your B+E licence.
LGV C1 HORSEBOX OR 7.5T
The category LGV C1 goods vehicle licence is for drivers that passed their category B (Car) driving test on or after 1st January 1997 and wish to drive a vehicle between 3500kg MAM to 7500kg MAM.
This category will enable you to drive a vehicle or horse box lorry up to 7500kg.
LGV C1+E
The category LGV C1+E goods vehicle licence is for drivers that passed their category B (Car) driving test on or after 1st January 1997 and wish to drive a vehicle between 3500kg MAM to 7500kg MAM and a tow a trailer over 750kgMAM
This category will enable you to drive an ambulance or horse box lorry size vehicle and a trailer, with a combined weight of up to 12000kg MAM.
PCV D1 MINIBUS
The category PCV D1 (Minibus) licence is for drivers that passed their category B (Car) driving test on or after 1st January 1997 and wish to drive a vehicle between 9 and 16 passenger seats.
Driver`s who have this licence on acquired rights (by passing their category B car licence before 1997) will also have to undertake this training if they are hoping to lift their 101 restriction and drive for hire and reward
